Our Founding Fathers

Our Founding Fathers - by Scott D Welch. The Founders of the United States of America were visionaries. They were well studied. They desired to have freedom and liberty. Thus, having lived under the oppression of King George III of England for what they felt was far too long, they decided to take matters into their own hands.

At the Second Continental Congress they declared, together, the following, stated in our Declaration of Independence, "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

In order to keep our Constitutional Republic free it behooves all Americans to avail themselves of the history of this great nation and realize that the only way to accomplish this is to be educated on our U.S. Constitution and what our Founders intended.

Much of how they envisioned our government is in various writings and speeches they delivered before, during and after our War for Independence.

Offered here is a free PDF eBook download containing quotes from several of the Founders, particularly about America, the Constitution, Liberty and Freedom, and how to keep the newly formed government functioning. As well, this booklet includes our four founding documents along with some interesting facts and trivia.
