Chris –
Movie is great! The acting at some parts are so-so, but the message is fantastic, and drastically needed in today’s society.
Nate Behrends –
Brilliant, simple, must see common sense movie. Should be required for every American citizen.
CHERRIE –
This movie is interesting to even the younger audience. I encourage all, young and old to enjoy surprises with, a ghost from the past and time travel that is enjoyable and informative.

Storyline was good. Acting was disappointing.
Anonymous –
The movie was interesting and engaging. It started strong, but seemed to end without really having a point. I would have liked to have seen all the amendments in the Bill of Rights explained. I liked the creative idea of the film, but thought it could have been executed better.
Laura Miller –
We enjoyed the movie. It kept my 10 and 4 year old engaged.
David L. –
Good review of the basics of the Constitution.
Jane Fortin –
The content was good, but the acting wasn’t top notch. Honestly I really didn’t expect it to be. I mainly ordered the movie to have it for my grandchildren and great grandchildren in case our country goes off the deep end. It’s a good learning tool. Even though I rated it a 3, I would still order it just for gaining the knowledge of our Constitution.
jackson –
It is a good way to learn more about our history.
David –
Enjoyable and educational.
Diane –
What a great presentation to help remind us of what our constitution says and stands for. The entire family enjoyed this film. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed the movie. It’s a clean, fun, modern telling of the importance of our constitution. The only scene I wish had been done differently is the horror house scene. The images were a bit too scary for my family’s liking.
Pamela –
You won’t get a Hollywood spectacle; you will be enlightened.
Rey M. –
Really good way of teaching kids about the constitution. Very entertaining.
Randy S. –
I thought the content was superb and was presented in an interesting way.
Randy Moore –
The movie was somewhat slow in catching interest, but did so as it went on. The pi**ed word was completely out of place, even tho for some who think it is common among all, for some it still is not. It was informative, and the illustrations regarding our liberties was good. I would recommend it.
Katherine Chaney –
My daughter in her late 30’s absolutely learned things she did not know before and her young son at age 13 knew them before the movie which made her very proud of him. It was hard to get them to sit down to watch it but they enjoyed it when they finally did.
Shain Edge –
Both informative and highly entertaining.
William K. –
As a student of constitutional law this was a fantastic introduction to the Constitution. I sent another copy to my son and grandson and they watched it together. Now I’ve got him interested in what’s going on around him.
Jim Chandler –
You have 2 distractions that prevent my giving it 5 Stars. The General’s Breast Pockets were unfastened and the National Colors were improperly displayed flanking the Second Amendment.

Very insightful and entertaining. Will recommend to my children and grandchildren.
Edward –
A little corny but I loved the concept . Great for younger people to learn the basics. The whys and what fore of our government.
Colleen M. –
Wonderful. Great teaching tool.
Patric Neese –
I loved it. I would love to see a movie where everything was covered.
Bobby Kreger –
At first the acting was so-so but then the story line took over. I have served the country and voted and complained about our so called leaders. More needs to be done, more needs to he said before all is lost and our freedom is gone. Thank you for the start.
Gail –
The movie was entertaining while being extremely informative. Hopefully the movie will create interest in our Founding Fathers writings, to include the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It’s vital to know what is the foundation of our Republic!
Herb H. –
While it does have that slight bit of “hokeyness” about it, the point of the film is WELL made. The presentation has that “catchiness” of the old School House Rock videos that many of us remember watching on Saturday mornings ….. I still rate this a 5 star, because it reached it’s goal, which was through quaint humor, to actually EDUCATE people in such a way that it wasn’t a yawn festival, and in the end, give people a better, more solid understanding of how and why this nation was built with the FREEDOMS that are far too often taken for granted in today”s world.
Jason H. –
I watched this movie with my kids and they are 9, 11, 12 and they had many questions concerning things they have heard in school compared to the movie. The biggest ones that they had were regarding the first amendment and the second. Their question is how come people say the Second Amendment is claimed to not apply to modern firearms but the 1st amendment is supposed to apply to computers. I was glad they realized the differences. My kids also acknowledged the fact that a lot of their freedoms come from the Constitution. This movie is a real eye opener and everyone should watch it with their kids.
Rosemary –
Every school in America should show this.
Doreen S. –

A must watch movie! Wasn’t a blockbuster or a big budget movie, but the information and message was brought forth clearly! God Bless America!
Ralph H. –
Overall it was rather good. Very educational and informative, and the Ben Franklin character was fun. The special effects were pretty good, too. I know this is rated as family-friendly, and there is no actual “cussing” in it, but the dad’s use of the word “pissed” and another word sort of makes it little uncomfortable in a Christian setting. It would have been just as effective without the words.

The content was great and appears to be accurate. The acting and the story line was a little cheesy… but I think the kids will like it and learn a lot (the adults will learn from it as well). It’s a great reminder to be vigilant and fight for the priceless freedom we enjoy!

It is a very educational family movie. I think everyone will learn something new.

Both the content and basis of the Constitution are well laid out and supported by a superb performance by Jimmy Hager. The film in its entirety is a ‘B’ movie if you’re looking for box office entertainment, but ‘A’ in content and enjoyment. Not everyone will concur with some opinions portrayed within this work, but everyone will walk away with a strong foundational knowledge of the Constitution. This film both entertains and informs.
“In Search of Liberty” should be seen by anyone who needs a working understanding, or wants an entertaining refresher, of just what America created and of the privilege of being an American citizen. Excellent tool for history teachers.
GEORGE FARRIS –

“In Search of Liberty” is an excellent movie! In my opinion it should be viewed be every single U.S. Citizen to help them understand what our Constitution and The Bill of Rights really is about and why the Founding Fathers created it. This movie should be shown in schools, from 5th grade and above. I received a DVD of this movie as a gift and then I bought several copies and have been giving them to friends with children to watch together because it is a family friendly movie and very educational. It is not political, it doesn’t matter if you vote left or right, it is purely educational and explains in a fun, entertaining way what our Freedoms as Americans are all about.
5 Stars, 2 Thumbs Up, A Must See!
I have promoted this movie on social media and even written to my Congressman, the candidates running in my district and to The President of the United States recommending that they watch this movie and share it with their families and friends. Thank you, I can’t wait to see the sequel.

I think it was very informative. I learned and was reminded of many important facts in our Constitution. I loved Ben. I feel like you did not need to use the two curse words to tell the story. I think “pissed” was one. I think it should be for everyone, including the young. I would love to see a movie on the Convention of States. Many people don’t understand the importance of this right our Founders gave us. But, would love anything y’all could do to better enlighten us on our government. Thank you and God Bless America!

Good educational and entertaining

Bought two copies and was very pleased. Covers 1 – 4 A’s. Highly recommend for pre-middle & middle school aged kids. Show’s how the Constitution is very applicable in today’s society and that it is not an “outdated piece of paper”.
Linda Johnson –
I found it very informative in a very unique and entertaining way.
